I went yesterday to Washington with my spanish friends and my native tutor. Her name is Catherine. We stopped for awhile at 10 o´clock more less in a supermarket and there I spoke with her about what I did on saturday. On Saturday evening I went to birthday of one of my VCU friends. It was so fun! There was people from Arabia, Turkey,Spain, Mali… An international party! At the beginning, I was doing a lot of effort for understanding the english of everybody but, little by little, I was understanding more and more until I could speak fluently withh them. I learnt very much about other cultures, other way of being, other dancings… It was fantastic! We tried a green cake, with taste of mint, it was delicious. We was dancing arabian music and spanish music such as the well-known song “La Macarena”. We enjoyed a lot. At the end of the party, we went to the last floor of the building and we could have a incredible seight of Richmond. It experience have been unique! I had never had a party like it!
